Abstract
The primary subject matter of this case concerns the financial analysis of
the acquisition of a commercial office property. Secondary issues examined include
aspects of office REITs – with which most business students are unfamiliar. The case
has a difficulty level of four, appropriate for undergraduate seniors. The case is
designed to be taught in a single 80 minute class period and is expected to require
three to four hours of outside preparation by students (depending on their level of
spreadsheet familiarity).
